The cost of replacing your boiler will depend on the type of boiler, the manufacturer or brand of boiler and the model of boiler. There can be other factors that affect the price, such as if you want to take the opportunity to relocate your boiler to a new location and if you want to add any extras such as smart controls.

The costs to replace your boiler will include the parts, that is the new boiler itself, and any other materials and sundries required to complete the boiler installation. There will also be labour charges for us to install your new boiler safely and professionally.

Redstone Plumbing and Heating will be able to advise you on all types of boilers and we will be able to make recommendations for the most cost-effective replacement boiler to meet your needs.

Please give us a call, where we can ask a few questions and give you an approximate estimate for a new boiler. Thereafter, we can arrange to pop by and take a look and provide you with a firm quote for the work. We always try our best to provide quotes in a timely manner as we appreciate quite often a new boiler is required urgently.

Our quotations include parts and labor and are the final price, including VAT. There are no hidden charges. Our work is guaranteed for 12 months, and all manufacturers provide a guarantee period for new boilers.

We appreciate that in some cases the installation of your new boiler is urgent, for example, if your existing boiler has completely broken down and you are left without heating and hot water. We will always do our best to avoid delays in these circumstances. When we provide a quotation, we will always give you an indication of the timescales for your installation.

The amount of time taken to complete a new boiler installation will depend on the complexity of the job. For example, if the boiler is to be relocated, or if additional radiators are required, then the installation will take longer than a straight replacement. Generally, a new installation takes between 1-3 days.

Yes, to give you a firm quotation we will need to visit your property to perform a short on-site survey. We can give you an initial estimate over the phone, but this will need to be followed up by a visit if you are considering proceeding with Redstone for your new boiler.

Yes, you can. Please let us know at the quotation stage that you would like the boiler moved to a new location and we can check to see if this is possible and factor this into our quote.

Generally, all new boilers come with a guarantee from the manufacturer. The length of the guarantee will depend on the product, and we will make you aware of the guarantee period when we provide a quote and identify and recommend the most suitable boiler.

The guarantee means that should you experience a breakdown, or something goes wrong within the guarantee period that we will come out and fix it or replace any faulty parts at no cost to you.

Upon installation, you will need to register your guarantee with the manufacturer to activate it. It’s an easy online process.

Worcester Bosch only approve heating engineers who are fully qualified, reputable, quality conscious and represent good value for money. They also require all approved installers to hold the relevant Gas Safe and OFTEC certifications. As accredited installers, we are able to offer up to a 12 year guarantee* on selected Worcester Bosch boilers and central heating installations.

Boiler Servicing

Yes, we service all types of boilers from all manufacturers.  Please contact us to book your annual boiler service.

Your central heating boiler should be serviced annually to ensure it is in good, safe working order and running efficiently. In most cases, annual servicing by a professional heating engineer is a condition of the manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty. Please contact us for a quote and to book your boiler service.

It's important to get your boiler serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered Engineer, predominantly for safety reasons.  Having your boiler inspected on an annual basis by a trained and fully qualified gas engineer means that checks can be made to ensure your boiler is running safely and efficiently.  It also means any problems or potential problems can be identified and fixed before they become a safety issue.

Servicing your boiler regularly means you are less likely to encounter faults with your boiler or indeed a breakdown, which could leave you without heating or hot water.  You could also avoid a costly repair bill that could perhaps have been avoided if the boiler had been serviced and maintained regularly.

Often the validity of any manufacturer warranty or guarantee is on the condition that the boiler is serviced annually by a professional gas engineer.

Yes, we can perform a powerflush on your central heating system. A powerflush is a deep clean of your central heating system and should only be performed by a professional. We powerflush your system using high pressure and special chemicals which remove dirt and debris from your system and improve its performance. It can take a number of hours to perform a powerflush. The good news is it shouldn’t need to be done too often. Please contact us for a quote.

Boiler Upgrades

Yes, we can. Installing a new thermostatic radiator valve involves draining the centra heating system and should therefore only be performed by a professional heating engineer. Please contact us for help.

Yes, we can. Redstone Plumbing and Heating can install replacement or additional radiators for you. Please contact us for a quote.

Yes, we can. We will assess and evaluate your existing central heating boiler to make sure it is able to support the additional radiators before providing a quotation.  Please contact us for help and advice.

Yes, we can relocate your existing boiler. We will need to come and take a look at it and your proposed new location to confirm it is possible and to provide a quote.

If you are having a new boiler installed and would like it to be installed in a different location to your existing boiler please make us aware of this at the quotation stage as it will most likely affect the price.

Boiler Finance

Redstone Plumbing and Heating offer 0% finance on all new boiler installations.  Finance is offered through Phoenix Finance and allows you to spread the cost of your new boiler by making monthly payments.  0% finance is available over 10 months, and in some cases over 24 months. If you require finance, please make us aware at the quotation stage.

Yes, if accepted, our finance offer means you can pay for your boiler in monthly instalments.
